On May 17, 2025, Rajamangala University of Technology Isan, Sakon Nakhon Campus, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Chaweng Saraklong, Vice President of Sakon Nakhon Campus, administrators, faculty, and staff joined in continuing the "Mahachart Merit Tradition" and Phang Khon Rocket Festival for the year 2025" with the objective of continuing and transmitting the traditions and culture of the people of Phang Khon District, which is organized every year. It is another important and interesting tradition of the province to join in the opening ceremony of the Mahachat Merit Festival and the beautiful rocket parade this time. Within the event, there was a grand opening ceremony. and a procession of beautifully decorated rockets It reflects the local identity very well.
