Rajamangala University of Technology Isan, Sakon Nakhon Campus Meeting to appoint a committee to operate the project to prepare a request for Thai geographic indications. To register Warish milk products and Sakon Nakhon indigo meat
December 27, 2024, Rajamangala University of Technology Isan, Sakon Nakhon Campus, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Chaweng Saraklong, Vice President of Sakon Nakhon Campus. Has been considered by the Department of Intellectual Property, Ministry of Commerce. Serve as a consultant to prepare applications for Thai Geographical Indications. To register Warish milk and Sakon Nakhon indigo products. Fiscal year 2025, with the objective of creating knowledge and understanding with the community about the benefits of GI registration, as well as preparing applications to receive protection in the country. In order to make the operation of the said project flexible and efficient, the university has appointed an operations committee. The Sakon Nakhon campus will be the unit responsible for all operations of this project. This is considered to support and promote the development of local products to gain international acceptance. Passed the GI registration of the said product at the Khamkhun Meeting Room 2, Research and Development Building.
